I started this company in 2014 after ten years wiring commercial access-control systems in the Bay Area. The habit stuck: every job gets a wiring diagram, every visit gets a photo log, and every customer gets the price in writing before I open my toolbox. I’m still the one who answers the phone at 2 AM when the after-hours line rings, and I’m still the one who drives out when a gate’s been “repaired” four times by four different people and nobody thought to check whether the limit switch was set past its mechanical stop. I live in San Mateo with two dogs who have learned to stay clear of the garage when I’m testing a swing-gate arm.

Marcus joined us in 2019 after running his own small fencing operation in Daly City. He specializes in cantilever slide gates and the concrete work that keeps them straight through wet winters. Dana runs dispatch and customer communication from our San Mateo office, which means she’s the live voice answering at midnight on a Saturday when your keypad won’t accept the code. She came to us from a commercial security firm in 2021 and rebuilt our scheduling system around one rule: the technician’s name and photo go to the customer before anyone leaves the shop. She tracks parts inventory for all nine brands we service, LiftMaster through Mighty Mule, and she’s usually the one who spots that a “failed” FAAC operator just needs a specific capacitor we have on the shelf. She grew up in the Bay Area and still complains about the fog delay at SFO the way only a local can.

Jesse started with us in 2023 after completing a mechatronics program at Skyline College. Right now he’s working through certification on DoorKing and Elite systems under Marcus’s supervision, and he’s already better at troubleshooting Ghost Controls solar setups than I was at his stage.
